Schlachte-Zauber
07. November 2022
With the view over the water, the wintry ambience is enhanced by the ice-blue lights and invites young and old to experience the magic of Schlachte on the Weser promenade. The musicians, jugglers, blacksmiths, tanners and artists bring a medieval flair with them. Visitors can look forward to works made of wood and ceramics, smells of fire, spices and incense as well as robes made of felt and cloth in a wintry atmosphere.
Historical, wintry and maritime - every year the Schlachte magic attracts thousands of people from near and far to the Weser promenade at the Schlachte, and not without reason. A journey back in time to the Middle Ages begins right behind the entrance. The numerous trees on the banks and the anchored ships on the Weser shine in the ice-blue light. Bid at the lovingly designed wooden huts
Artisans offer their individual gift ideas. Arrived at the mighty wooden palisades, the privateer's village awaits the guests: blacksmiths, felters or candle makers are already waiting here, offering their handicrafts there as they were hundreds of years ago. Be it robber kebabs, fruit wine or hearty bread – the pirate taverns and taverns offer typical food and drink.
