In September, Maritime Week will once again be a highlight in Bremen's city center. The organizer, CityInitiative Bremen Werbung eV, focuses on a mix of entertainment, culture, and knowledge, creating a special atmosphere in Bremen City.

The Maritime Week in detail

From September 13 to 18, 2025, the Discovery Days will present a variety of events offering exciting insights into the world of shipping, research, and maritime lifestyles. Exhibitions, interactive programs, and interesting lectures invite visitors to learn more about the oceans, maritime technology, and the importance of water for Bremen.

The festival weekend from September 19 to 21, 2025, marks the grand finale of the week's events. Visitors can expect a vibrant atmosphere on the Schlachte River, featuring culinary delights, music, and numerous activities. Highlights include the impressive illuminated parade and the exciting dragon boat race. Maritime culture and the lively hustle and bustle on the Weser make the weekend an unforgettable experience for all.
